Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Psychology University of Wolverhampton

This is a Temporary post for 12 months –Maternity Cover

The Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing, University of Wolverhampton is pleased to announce that the Institute of Psychology, it is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer post to provide maternity cover and to contribute to our Undergraduate and Postgraduate Psychology provision. This post is 0.8 FTE and is for 12 months.

The Institute of Psychology is a motivated and ambitious team and are keen to add to our established and growing research portfolio. A research specialist in any area of psychology will be considered, but applicants with a focus on Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology or Personality would be especially welcome. You will also be expected to supervise research projects and act as a personal tutor for students as well as engaging in scholarly activity and other duties commensurate with the role.

It is expected that you will undertake the University's Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education if you do not already possess a teaching qualification in higher education or are eligible to seek membership of the Higher Education Academy.
