Research Assistant II in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 201701000) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)


Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences or any related disciplines. They should have strong commitment to high quality research, good communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive problem-solving approach as well as the will to persist and persevere through challenges. The ability to communicate in Cantonese is essential. Possession of graduate research experience/degree or plan to pursue graduate research would be an asset. The appointees will participate in research projects in early psychosis, relapse prediction and at-risk mental state for psychosis utilizing clinical, neurocognitive (such as language and semantic analysis, reward learning and effort-cost computation, etc.) and neuroimaging approaches. They will carry out clinical interviews and neurocognitive assessments to patients and assist in neuroimaging processing.

They will also be responsible for the development and execution of the research projects; and data entry, data management and analysis of research data.
