Job Overview

 

The Department of Psychology at Drexel University is seeking to hire a full-time Teaching Faculty member to teach undergraduate and graduate psychology courses. We are seeking a doctoral level colleague who is dedicated to teaching and who adheres to a scientific approach to the study of psychology. 



Drexel's Department of Psychology is comprised of 19 full-time faculty and 5 Teaching Professors. The Doctoral Program is recognized nationally for its Ph.D. program by U.S. News and World report and ranked #7 by the Chronicle of Higher Education among departments with doctoral programs in clinical psychology. The predominant theoretical orientation within the clinical doctoral faculty is cognitive-behavioral.  

 

Qualifications

 

Phd. or equivalent degree required. The instructor must be qualified and willing to teach a variety of courses, but special consideration will be given to those who could teach research methods (including statistics), courses related to neuropsychology, as well as courses in his or her specialty.  

 

Essential Functions

 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach both in-person and online courses. The workload is 4 courses per term, across Fall, Winter, and Spring terms; terms (including exam week) are 11 weeks long. A full-time benefit package is included.
