DESCRIPTION

 

The Department of Neurosciences at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) (http://neurosciences.ucsd.edu/) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and is seeking a full-time board Eligible or Board Certified Neurologist with a completed Fellowship training in Movement Disorders. ECCMG Certification for foreign candidates is essential.

 

The position is designed for a clinician at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level interested in becoming a member of an interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will participate in the clinical assessment and management of patients with movement disorders in an academic environment. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.

 

Candidates must have an MD degree and be board eligible or board certified and have, or be eligible for, a California medical license. Candidates must have completed Neurology training and have completed Fellowship training in Movement Disorders, or have a track record of clinical expertise in this area.

 

Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Series will be determined based on background and experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
