The Division of Psychology and Mental Health, within the School of Health Sciences seeks to appoint a Clinical Lecturer/Senior Lecturer 0.8fte for a fixed-term period of one year. You should have an established career in clinical psychology, and hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) and professional registration with the HCPC


You will join the Clinical Psychology Doctorate (ClinPsyD) programme team and also contribute to research and teaching elsewhere in the Division. Duties will include significant face-to-face teaching on the Adult, Professional Issues and Research Methods modules of the ClinPsyD, assessment of ClinPsyD student academic work (case reports, clinical audits, written and oral examinations), acting as an Academic Advisee, co-supervision of doctoral research, and contributing to other aspects of the operational and strategic management of the ClinPsyD as required by the Programme Director.


The exact nature and balance of duties will depend on whether the appointee is appointed on a Teaching only or Research and Teaching contract. In the latter case, you will be expected to contribute to the research priorities of the Division (please specify which post you are applying for).
