This full-time position is to support an ERC Advanced Grant awarded to Prof. Matt Lambon Ralph (BRAIN2MIND_NEUROCOMP: “Developing and delivering neurocomputational models to bridge between brain and mind.”).

 

The postdoc research associate post will assist with direction of the research programme, especially with the design and implementation of neuroanatomically-constrained models of language function. There may also be opportunities to design and implement underpinning neuroanatomical and functional imaging studies, to collate, score and analyse data. Essential skills, knowledge and qualifications include: Hold a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience; established skills and publication track-record in computational modelling; extensive and up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge in cognitive neuroscience, theories of semantic cognition and its disorders, theories of language function and its disorders; excellent or emerging technical skills in experimental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, fMRI, MR tractography, functional connectivity analyses.
