Tenure Track Assistant Professorship Digital Lives100% The Faculty of Psychology is one of seven faculties of the oldest university in Switzerland. With our core focus on Society & Choice and Health & Interventions, we are successful both nationally and internationally in our research and study programs. Your position Digitalization and artificial intelligence have far-reaching effects not only on the economy, society, and politics, but also on individual and interpersonal experience and behavior. They are changing human consumer behavior, social interaction, and how people experience them subjectively. Digitalization has a major impact on our education system and how learning will be shaped in the future. The planned professorship will focus on the psychological aspects of digitalization, how people perceive digitalization, how they deal with the increasing digitalization of processes, and how digitalization can be designed to meet people's needs. Possible research topics of the professorship can be in one of the following four areas of digital psychology: human-computer Interaction (e.g., user/player experience, software usability), digital transformation of decision-making behavior (e.g., digital decision aids), online communication (e.g., social media) or digital education (e.g., individualized learning, gamification). With a focus on digitalization in psychology, the planned professorship will establish their own research program and create numerous points of contact within the faculty, university, and regional units or businesses.
