Digitalization and artificial intelligence have far-reaching effects not only on the economy, society, and politics, but also on individual and interpersonal experience and behavior. Digitalization has a major impact on our education system and how learning will be shaped in the future.

Possible research topics of the professorship can be in one of the following four areas of digital psychology: human-computer Interaction (e.g., user/player experience, software usability), digital transformation of decision-making behavior (e.g., digital decision aids), online communication (e.g., social media) or digital education (e.g., individualized learning, gamification). With a focus on digitalization in psychology, the planned professorship will establish their own research program and create numerous points of contact within the faculty, university, and regional units or businesses.
